Happy Birthday Kaden & Rainbows : I took all these at precisely the same time that my great nephew Kaden Lloyd Womack was being born in Texas. I have never seen the end of a rainbow before, it was ending about 100feet off the deck. We had 4 rainbows that day, 2 were the brightest i've ever seen, much brighter then what the pics show, i tried to play with the color in picasa to bring them back to life but didn't have much luck. The Clouds that you see falling over the rainbow in the pics with the humming birds are, I believe, Mammatus "Pouch" clouds and aren't too common. And Of course the baby pics were taken by family in Texas, my zoom isn't that good. Kaden was born 7/18/08 at 4:03 8lbs 10.5oz 20.5".

Devil's Head, Dakan Rd, Rampart Rnge, Mt.Herman. : ***CLICK ON THE "SLIDESHOW" VIEW(top right)*** These are all of Devil's Head or on the road to it. This place is awesome! I can't believe its so close to home. Check out the picture of denver from the top. It was an easy hike that starts out along a creek thats full of aspen trees. Its a little over a mile. Don't forget your camera. Theres a little cabin at the bottom of the stairs in a green grassy meadow that looks like something out of a fairy tale. I didn't have enough memory left to take pics of it. Good excuse to go back!

California Trip : Vegas, while overwhelmingly stunning, is a disgraceful place and i hope it gets attacked next. The casinos cater to white trash, its no surprise why the most impotent and crappy cities and states in the union have them. In other news, who says you can't buy a budget 4x4 sight unseen, fly in to get it and drive straight to attempt one of the most extreme offroad trails in the world with no previous experience. *attempt*

Christmas 07 : This year was different... It was just Nichole and I, but family, friends and God (with his big snow that went on all day) made this a very special Christmas for us. We opened gifts, slept, ate, slept, watched a movie, slept, watched another movie, slept - you get the idea. We talked with Will and other family and friends which really added to the day for us. Nichole and I enjoyed each other's company, which was the most important thing,. Oh, one last thing - I think we need a taller tree next year... Just kidding, Josh! Thanks for surprising us with the biggest tree ever!
